Please read and follow the rules of our ranges. If you have any questions or concerns, immediately contact the Range Safety Officer. These rules will keep the ranges safe for you and others, as well as keeping them in a usable condition for everyone to enjoy!
Range Documentation/Forms
The Range Safety Officer kindly asks that you read and understand all of the rules. Please refer to the following forms for additional guidelines, as well as what to do when someone does not follow the rules and an incident occurs.
Rifle Range Quick Guidelines
- Always check your gun to ensure it is not loaded before anyone walks on the range.
- Follow any instructions posted at the range. If a sign says closed, then it is CLOSED!
- Do NOT shoot at the target hanger wooden posts, or frames.
- Metal targets are available for your enjoyment. Please refrain from using any ammunition that could damage these targets.
- Remember to sign-in before using the range.
Pistol Range Quick Guidelines
- Always check your gun to ensure it is not loaded before anyone walks on the range.
- Follow any instructions posted at the range. If a sign says closed, then it is CLOSED!
- The pistol range is CLOSED during trap shooting events. Please use the rifle range as the alternative range during trap events
- Do NOT shoot at the target hanger wooden posts, or frames.
- Remember to sign-in before using the range.
Trap Range Quick Guidelines
- The trap shotgun pattern board is open for use anytime but the maximum shot allowed is size 7. Lead shot only please!
- If you wish to pattern 3” or 3 1/2” magnum shells OO buck/defense shotgun loads high brass 2 or 4 shot turkey loads, high brass duck or waterfowl loads, please use the rifle range and paper targets.
- Contact the Trap Chairman if you would like to use the range to test out a new gun.
- NO HAND THROWERS are allowed on the range without permission from the Trap Chairman.
- Always check your gun to ensure it is not loaded before anyone walks on the range.
